A.K. Diamond's was born in 1995 by Jeanne and Richard Diamond, veteran restauranteurs on the island of Nantucket since 1980. Both began their careers at the Jared Coffin House, Jeanne a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, working in the kitchen, and Richard, running the dining room. After gaining valuable knowledge at the Jared Coffin House, the opportunity arose to operate their own restaurant, The Mad Hatter and rant it until 1989. Their proprietorship at Arno's at 41 Main Street began in 1993, and continues to this day.

Walk off airport. Left turn, to traffic lights. Left turn. Several hundred feet, and just past the next set of lights, it’s in a strip mall on the right.
Tucked away on Rte. 125's Butcher Boy Plaza, Orzo Cafe/Trattoria is a North Andover jewel. It has the roomy seating area, casual atmosphere, friendly service, open kitchen and moderately priced menu that make it the perfect place for everyone in the family. It's easy to see why Orzo Cafe/Trattoria was voted Greater Andover's "Best Of The Best" by Market Surveys of America.

Angel Foods is a great market on Commercial in the East End. The owner is really nice and a great source of local information. They make sandwiches to order and have many gourmet food options. It is worth the walk from town. They are open year round.

This place has some of the most beautiful gelatos and baked items I have seen. The Luscious Lemon cupcakes are a dream and you cannot go wrong with any of the gelato.

This is a new cafe / bakery nearly on the field. It is in a old hangar type building just off the grounds. I spoke with some of the people and it is a really nice little place. Definitely a lunch only spot but they have good gourmet sandwiches and great bread.

We arrived almost at closing time, so we were able to get a table right away, plus the fact that it was off season helped. the restaurant has opened in the mid 40s, which adds to its charm. the seafood chowder special was awesome. the crepe i ordered with goat cheese and portabella mushroom was good - but the ingredients weren't mixed - at first i was impressed by the amount of goat cheese in it - until i realized -- being left with only the mushroom was a bit disappointing. my girlfriend ordered the ham and cheese crepe which was very good.

Nancy's is great - you can sit and watch everyone landing and usually with a crosswind at 6B6. The people are exremely nice and the food is always good. Check out the specials and go with them, they are usually the freshest.
Nancy's has been written up for using only the freshest ingredients. they have working relationships with farms throughout New England. Maple Syrup, Cheeses, Vegetables, Meats - Local Products.
