A Van Wert tradition since 1924, Balyeat's Coffee Shop offers daily specials with dinners that are priced just right. While menus are available, don't worry about asking for one - just ask the waitress what's good today. Then sit back and listen to the list ... roast beef, roast pork, Salisbury steak, Swiss steak, meatloaf, baked chicken, BBQ backbones, knockers and kraut ... and the list goes on. Top it all off with real mashed potatoes, stuffing, and a fresh veggie. Before you leave, make sure you have a piece of homemade pie (the cream pies are out of this world!).

This is the greatest roller coaster park in the US. We had a great time there and will defiantly go back. Now that we have kids it will be a little tougher but the rides were spectacular. Plan on going during the summer and you can stay on Put In Bay for the night. very fun!

This place is like Key West in Lake Erie - The good and the bad. There are a lot of bars and the people are very friendly, there are also and lot of bikers and the place can get rowdy at night. Definitely fun for a weekend, after that it gets a little tiring. We will definitely go back!

After a day of sight seeing and entertainment, come home to a spacious two-bedroom condominium. Change into your bathing suit and enjoy a relaxing swim in our pool on the lake. The living area of our condo units features a Queen sleeper-sofa, love seat and chair.
