I flew into BID last week for a charity drop off flight. The person at the front desk was extremely nice and even let me use one of their offices while I was waiting for my party to return. Unfortunately, he was the only nice person there, about 5 minutes after I sat down I was "approached" by two older gentlemen who asked who I was and said that I "would need a charity" if I kept sitting there. I then went through an inquisition on who I was and what I was doing.

This is a place in town that we stopped at for drinks with friends. The bartenders were great and it also had a good men for lunch and dinner fare. We had reservation elsewhere but I would try it again when I am in town.

This is right in the main building at the airport. We have flown in for a quick lunch and many other places. It is standard airport fare and there is outside seating where you can watch the planes take off and land. There are even toys for the kids. I have heard that it is better as a breakfast place so I listed it for that.

Westerly/Misquamicut is a beach town and there are a lot of places to stay in the area. Also Watch Hill is a great nearby upscale beach town. There are 2 rental cars Thrifty and Enterprise available. We have gone there to visit friends so haven't stayed at the local places or needed to rent a car.
