If you ave every been to this island you know that everything is a short walk away from the airport. I think the Channel Marker is the largest restaurant on the island.

This Tangier Island Restaurant opened May 2004 under the ownership of Willie Crockett, a Tangier Island native. Actually Tangier Island boasts local Chesapeake Bay cuisine and the Channel Marker Restaurant and Gallery is no exception. The restaurant combines Tangier Island tradition with tastes of the island, cheery atmosphere of a local hangout combined with excellent foods

Eckhard's is known for its fine German and Italian cuisine throughout the Middle Peninsula. We are accessible from not only the Topping/Greys Point area, but very near Deltaville, Irvington, White Stone, Kilmarnock, Urbana and Saluda as well. In addition to its ethnic specialties, Eckhard's features fresh seafood, imported and domestic beers, fine wines and home-made deserts.

This is nearly on the field. The Pilot House Inn is located in the Motel across the street. Reasonable for a stop by.

It is about a 10 minute drive to the tavern form the airport - There are courtesy cars available.

Texas Tavern is a consistent winner in polls conducted by the Roanoker magazine in catagories such as "Best Late Night Dinner", "Best Chile", "Best Hotdog" and "Best Inexpensive Lunch".

It started back in 1956, in this actual storefront location and was originally called Mike's Subs. Mike opened the small shop in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey. You have to remember that in 1956, there were very few franchise restaurants or hamburger chains. No chain pizza, chicken or taco restaurants, either. In 1956, proprietors or mom-and-pop businesses would open their stores in basic storefront locations like you see here. To survive and thrive, they had to offer exceptional quality products, coupled with unparalleled service.

King’s Korner is well known for its restaurant. We offer a large variety of mouth-watering entrées that will satisfy everyone in your lunch or dinner party. We are located in the Chesterfield Airport near the intersection of Route 10 and 288. We offer a lunch buffet that appeals to the working crowd that visits us during the week. We also serve a brunch buffet on the Sundays, with wide a variety of choices guaranteed to please people of all ages.

I love places like this. A typical local joint that hasn't changed in years. No ribs to be had, only chopped/sliced pork sandwiches and BBQ chicken. I had the sliced sandwich and the onion rings.

First off, this is the real deal. I saw the brick pit and the smoke pouring out of the chimney. They also chop/slice the pork right in front and the butts were suitably black from actual smoking.
