ANA Flights and Booking Help

Compare All Nippon Airways flights with confidence

ANA, or All Nippon Airways, is an option to consider when planning travel to Japan. Start with the complete journey: operating airlines, airport names, cabin on each flight and the conditions attached to the quoted fare. A cabin label alone does not explain what you can change or which extras are included.

Flying Getaway is an independent travel agency, not ANA customer service. We can help you compare a new booking quote and assist with reservations purchased through us. For a ticket bought directly from ANA or another seller, begin with that seller’s official support channel.

Planning ANA flights and Japan connections

Compare the actual flights offered for your dates rather than assuming a route is nonstop. Read the operating-carrier line on every segment, including any connection within Japan. An ANA flight number does not by itself establish that ANA operates the aircraft.

For a Tokyo itinerary, check whether each flight uses Haneda or Narita. If the airport names differ, allow for the transfer and its practical costs before choosing the quote. Our Tokyo airport and flight-planning guide helps you assess the arrival gateway; it is not a promise of ANA availability.

Ask whether all flights form one ticket, where bags must be collected, and whether the onward sector has a different cabin. Keep arrival times, overnight stops and connection requirements beside the total price when comparing options.

ANA cancellations and refunds: start with your ticket

For a voluntary cancellation, the purchased fare conditions determine whether a refund is permitted and which deductions may apply. Ask the issuing seller for the amount and conditions before authorizing cancellation. Do not assume an unused or premium-cabin ticket is fully refundable.

Airline disruption follows a different process from changing your own plans. Check the options offered for the affected itinerary and consult ANA’s official refunds and rebooking guidance. A fixed refund outcome cannot be promised without the ticket details.

If you booked through an agency, contact that agency for refund handling. Keep the e-ticket receipt and any disruption notice available through a private support channel. Flying Getaway can review bookings issued through us; we do not represent ANA’s official support team.

Changing an ANA booking or checking a reservation

Changes are available only when the fare permits them. The new itinerary can involve a fare difference, taxes and applicable fees. Ask for the complete revised cost before agreeing, and do not wait until departure to check a time-sensitive request.

ANA’s international online-change guidance excludes travel-agency reservations and lists other itinerary restrictions. For an agency-issued ticket, use the issuing agency. For eligible direct bookings, start with ANA Manage Your Booking and review the conditions shown for your reservation.

Have the passenger name, travel dates and booking or ticket reference ready. Our booking reference and ticket number guide explains which identifier you may need. Check names against travel documents before payment; a correction or passenger change needs a ticket-specific assessment, not an assumed free name change.

ANA international cabins and fare choices

ANA lists Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First Class for its international services. Availability and seat design vary by flight and aircraft. Review the offered cabin on every segment, then compare its separate fare conditions.

Economy Class

Compare the total fare with the baggage and seat options you need. Check change and refund conditions before paying; the Economy cabin name does not establish a single allowance or flexibility level.

Premium Economy

ANA describes a distinct international cabin with additional seating space. Confirm it is actually offered on the quoted flight and check the onward segment separately; do not assume every connecting flight uses the same cabin.

Business Class

Review the aircraft-specific seat layout and included services on the flight you are buying. Do not infer a particular seat product, lounge entitlement or refund rule solely from a Business label.

First Class

Check that First Class is offered on the exact flight and review the current aircraft details. International First Class and Japan domestic cabin labels should not be treated as the same product.

Four checks before choosing an ANA quote

Compare the whole journey

Put total price, airport changes, connection time and overnight stops side by side. A cheaper headline can mean a less convenient journey.

Read the ticket’s baggage allowance

Check the number of pieces as well as weight and size. Do not copy an allowance from a different fare, route or airline.

Separate seats from fare flexibility

A preferred seat or upgraded cabin does not automatically make a ticket changeable or refundable. Request the actual conditions.

Arrange assistance before travel

If mobility help is needed, consult ANA’s official assistance guidance early. Explain the support required and any wheelchair size or battery details through the appropriate private channel.

FAQs

Questions about booking ANA flights

Does every ANA Economy fare include two checked bags?

No. ANA’s current international guidance lists an Economy range of zero to two pieces, depending on fare rules. The allowance on your ticket governs. Check the official checked-baggage page and confirm partner-operated segments separately.

ANA’s published guidance permits one carry-on bag and one personal item with a combined weight of up to 10 kg. The carry-on must fit within 55 × 40 × 25 cm and a 115 cm total; the personal item within 40 × 30 × 20 cm. Read the current carry-on guidance for exceptions, and check any partner-operated flight’s rules.

Another airline’s baggage rules may apply when the itinerary includes a codeshare or partner-operated flight. Confirm the allowance shown on the ticket rather than deciding from the flight number alone. Our codeshare baggage rules guide explains the questions to ask before booking.

ANA publishes guidance for wheelchair use and mobility assistance. Contact the appropriate support channel in advance, describe the help needed and confirm arrangements for connecting flights. If bringing your own wheelchair, review its size and battery requirements in ANA’s mobility assistance guidance.
